Andrew Brode is the co-owner and president of ShowREADY., a national provider of audio, video, and lighting technical services for meetings and events. Headquartered in Maywood, Illinois, ShowREADY. partners with clients across corporate, association, and nonprofit sectors to deliver seamless, high-quality production experiences.

Since acquiring the company with his business partner in 2014, Andrew has led the organization’s financial, operational, and strategic growth. Under his leadership, the company has significantly expanded its capabilities, team, and national footprint. In 2017, he successfully led the acquisition of Edge ShowTek, further strengthening the organization’s presence in the Midwest and enhancing its service offerings. More recently, he guided the company through its rebrand to ShowREADY., aligning the organization’s identity with its people-first culture and growing national presence in the live events industry.

Andrew brings over 20 years of experience across event production, broadcast engineering, and technology development in both nonprofit and corporate environments. Prior to joining ShowREADY., he served as Director of System Development for Weigel Broadcasting, home to national networks including MeTV, Decades, H&I, and Movies!, as well as multiple local stations throughout the Midwest. In that role, he provided leadership for the engineering operations of Weigel’s Broadcast Operations Center and supported hundreds of affiliated stations. As part of the engineering management team, he contributed to major capital expansions, operational improvements, and talent development initiatives.

Earlier in his career, Andrew was a member of the engineering team at the ABC-owned station ABC7 Chicago, where he supported high-profile broadcasts including the top-rated Countdown Chicago New Year’s special and daily news programming. He also played a key role in developing AV production departments for multiple Chicago-area churches, leading facility build-outs and building strong technical teams.

Andrew holds a degree in Acoustical Engineering from Columbia College and is a native of the Northwest suburbs of Chicago. He currently resides in Elmhurst with his wife, Aimee.
