Lisa Fielding is an anchor and reporter for Newsradio 780 WBBM, bringing more than three decades of experience in news and sports across radio and television broadcasting. A Bradley University graduate and multiple award-winning journalist, Lisa began her career as an intern and reporter at WEEK-TV, the NBC affiliate in Peoria, before moving into radio at WROK-WZOK. She returned to television in 1995 as weekend anchor at WIFR-TV in Rockford, while also becoming one of the first female voices on Chicago’s all-sports station, “The Score.”

In 1999, Lisa relocated to Madison, Wisconsin to serve as main anchor and executive producer for the launch of Fox 47 News at Nine, covering major events including the Rose Bowl and the Final Four with the Wisconsin Badgers. She later served as main anchor at WVTV-WB 18 News at Nine in Milwaukee.

Lisa also spent seven years in minor league baseball as one of the nation’s few female public address announcers and was a contender to succeed Wayne Messmer as the Chicago Cubs’ PA announcer. Her work has been recognized by the Associated Press and other leading organizations.

She anchors afternoon drive at WBBM and hosts Audacy’s “Backstage Chicago” podcast, focusing on arts and culture.
