Enhance Your Events Through Multiculturalism

A panel of diverse participants at The Summit.

Chicago's diversity is one of its greatest resources, and the most innovative planners know how to take advantage of it in their day-to-day work. One of the Education & Eggs sessions at The Summit, How Events Are Creating Unforgettable Experiences by Leveraging Multicultural Resources, will put you in position to join them.

Sponsored by AV Chicago, a top provider of production and event management services, the panel will outline the unique challenges women- and minority-owned businesses regularly encounter and inform you on the best methods to find diversity in partnerships.

Roz Stuttley, Choose Chicago's Vice President of Inclusive Tourism and Community Engagement will moderate an expert panel consisting of Lori Adlesick, Choose Chicago's Vice President of Strategic Partnerships & Events; Cyndi Roppolo, Director of Business Development for Kehoe Designs; and Glenn Charles, Jr., President & CEO of Show Strategy, Inc.

Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, The Summit (formerly the Hospitality & Tourism Summit) will be held on April 28 at three of the West Loop’s most dynamic venues: Recess, City Hall, and Morgan Manufacturing. How Events Are Creating Unforgettable Experiences by Leveraging Multicultural Resources will take place at City Hall from 10:50-11:15 AM. You can purchase tickets and register for the session here.

A combination of a networking breakfast and panel discussions related to the tourism, hospitality, and events industries, Education & Eggs, which includes a free breakfast, is sponsored by Yolk, your Chicago neighborhood brunch spot since 2006.
