The long days required for successful event planning often come at the expense of a healthy diet. But one of the Education & Eggs sessions at The Summit, Lead With Energy: Nutrition, Recovery & Resilience for High-Stakes Event Teams, will show how focusing on what you eat can improve productivity.
Presented by Zach Zenner, owner and founder of ZION Performance, Lead With Energy will describe a practical, science-based approach designed to improve decision-making at crucial moments. A former NFL running back who is now a certified nutrition specialist, Zenner understands that eating well leads to better on-the-job outcomes that can turn top performers into leaders.
Celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2026, The Summit (aka The Hospitality & Tourism Summit) will be held on April 28 at three of the West Loop’s most dynamic venues: Recess, City Hall, and Morgan Manufacturing. Lead With Energy will take place at City Hall from 10:20-10:45 AM. You can purchase tickets and register for the session here.
A combination of a networking breakfast and panel discussions related to the tourism, hospitality, and events industries, Education & Eggs, which includes a free breakfast, is sponsored by Yolk, your Chicago neighborhood brunch spot since 2006.
