On April 28, The Summit will bring together hospitality, tourism, and events professionals from all over the Chicago area to network, exchange ideas, and keep up to date on the latest venues and food and beverage providers. For planners, there are numerous education sessions and roundtable discussions that will give you insight to bring back to your business.
The Planner Track of the Education & Eggs sessions consists of three discussions at City Hall. Lead with Energy: Nutrition, Recovery & Resilience for High-Stakes Event Teams, presented by former NFL running back Zach Zenner, presents a science-backed approach that links healthier eating with better decision-making at crucial moments. Roz Stuttley of Choose Chicago will moderate How Events Are Creating Unforgettable Experiences by Leveraging Multicultural Resources, a panel that spotlights the benefits of partnering with women- and minority-owned businesses for events. The third is AI, Engagement, and the New Economics of Events: What B2B Can Learn from Sports and B2C Experiences, where Joel Steel of Komo Technologies leads a discussion about how AI can customize event agendas to better hold an audience’s attention.
Afterwards, the Roundtable Luncheon at Recess has a dozen topics created and led by events industry leaders designed to promote interaction between professionals and an exchange of ideas among contemporaries. The topics are:
